From IUP’s EGO website:
IUP’s English Graduate Organization (EGO) serves many functions. EGO is a place where you can share your ideas, concerns, and graduate experience with your peers. The organization serves as a place to make friends, learn about, and participate in events, and also to ensure that your voice as an English graduate student is heard within the department as well as campus wide.
EGO serves all graduate students who are enrolled in English Graduate programs at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Our organization caters to students in the Composition and TESOL, Literature and Composition, as well as Literature and Criticism graduate programs. By becoming a student in any one of these programs, you are automatically a member of EGO. Membership is free, and students are not obligated to attend organization meetings, although it is encouraged as it is a great way to meet other students who share similar passions and interests.
